The Sajda Story: Serving Devotion with Smart Technology
Since its launch in 2017, Sajda has established its position as a pioneer in the development of smart Islamic and Da’wah (advocacy) products, and is today the exclusive representative of the Smart Prayer Rug in the GCC countries and Egypt. We believe that faith and innovation can meet in perfect harmony. Therefore, we design products that merge spirituality with modern technology, contributing to the ease of performing acts of worship while preserving their sanctity and beauty.

The Idea
The Smart Prayer Rug was developed to help Muslims stay focused during prayer and overcome moments of forgetfulness. It features an integrated digital counter that tracks the number of prostrations (sujood) and automatically updates with each completed rak’ah (prayer unit). This ensures that the worshipper can always know where they are in their prayer — calmly and confidently.
